Terms and Conditions – Reiki Therapy Sessions
These terms and conditions apply to all Reiki therapy sessions provided by Reiki with Reena. By booking a session, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Nature of Reiki
Reiki is a gentle, complementary therapy designed to promote relaxation and wellbeing. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional healthcare. Reiki practitioners do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication, or interfere with treatments provided by qualified healthcare professionals. Clients should continue to follow the advice of their GP or medical practitioner.
2. Consent to Treatment
By booking a Reiki session, you confirm that you voluntarily agree to receive Reiki therapy. Clients are responsible for informing the practitioner of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns prior to the session.
For sessions provided to animals, the owner or responsible guardian must provide consent and remain responsible for the animal during the session.
3. Payment
Distance Reiki sessions: Full payment is required at least 48 hours before the scheduled session.
Mobile Reiki sessions: A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance must be paid once the session is completed, unless otherwise agreed.
Payments may be made via the payment methods provided at the time of booking.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Clients must provide at least 48 hours’ notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in the loss of the deposit or payment.
In exceptional circumstances, appointments may be rescheduled at the discretion of the practitioner.
5. Late Arrivals
If a client arrives late for a session, the session may be shortened in order to avoid delaying other appointments. The full session fee will still apply.
6. Mobile Reiki Travel Fees
Mobile Reiki sessions include a travel fee of 45p per mile after a 3 mile radius. Travel distance will be calculated from the practitioner’s base location to the client’s location.
7. Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for providing a safe, comfortable, and appropriate environment for mobile Reiki sessions. The practitioner reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a session if the environment is considered unsafe or unsuitable.
8. Confidentiality
All personal information and details discussed during consultations and sessions will remain strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties without the client’s consent, unless required by law.
9. Liability
Reiki with Reena accepts no liability for any decisions or actions taken by clients following a Reiki session. Reiki is provided as a complementary wellbeing practice, and results may vary from person to person or animal to animal.
10. Changes to Terms
Reiki with Reena reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. The most current version will always apply to new bookings.
